CORE FLOW
Core Flow is an energizing, full-body class that blends strength, mobility, and fluid movement with a strong focus on the core. Using a variety of props—such as a small ball, hand towel, resistance bands, or simply your own bodyweight—we’ll both challenge and support our bodies throughout class. We begin standing, flowing to the beat of the music while incorporating barre-inspired and functional movements that build strength, improve balance, and gently elevate the heart rate. This portion of class emphasizes control, alignment, and seamless transitions that help you feel strong and graceful. From there, we transition to the floor for focused core work. You’ll experience a mix of traditional mat Pilates exercises along with contemporary variations, keeping the class fresh, engaging, and adaptable to different levels. Core Flow is designed to leave you feeling centered, energized, and deeply connected to your body—strong from the inside out, with movement that feels as good as it looks.
CORE STRENGTH
Core Strength is a dynamic, full-body class designed to build strength, stability, and confidence through functional movement. Using a range of light to heavy weights (1–12 lbs suggested), we’ll train the entire body with an emphasis on the core as the foundation for all movement. The first portion of class is performed standing, combining strength-based, functional exercises that elevate the heart rate while improving balance, coordination, and total-body power. Expect smart, intentional movements that support everyday activities and long-term strength.We’ll then transition to the floor, shifting into mat Pilates-inspired core work. This portion of class helps build a strong, supportive core while improving posture and overall body awareness.Options are always offered, making this class accessible yet effective for a variety of fitness levels.Come ready to feel strong, energized, and connected—from the inside out.
Mat Pilates with Props
Each class will work to balance all muscle groups’ strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Classes will blend the Classical Pilates Method with exercise variations and by using props such as a towel, small ball or light weights. Modifications are suggested for beginners or for those with physical limitations. Fluid Core Training
Experience the synergy of movement and music in this flowing core-centered class. You will build strength, endurance and power working all planes of motion from standing to seated, supine, side-lying and prone.
