Mat

Balanced Body Pilates mat

I’m partial to my Balanced Body mat. It is very thick which offers comfort for my wrists, knees and hips. I bought my daughter a similar, less expensive option on Amazon. If I am doing more of a flowing yogalates, I rely on my Lululemon yoga mat which is thinner and anti slip.

Foam Roller

OPTP foam roller

This is my favorite foam roller. The density is perfect in my opinion. I also have a shorter one for travel that is a little more firm which translates to less forgiving when rolling out sore muscles.

Small Ball

Target small fitness ball

The small ball I use is from Target. I bought my daughter a similar one from Amazon. If you don’t have a small ball, a good option is a small decorative pillow.

Weights

neoprene weights

I like the neoprene covered weights for comfort. I’m not sure where I got these, but Amazon and Target have some great options. I generally recommend having a variety of weights on hand (1-12 lbs). If you don’t have weights, I would recommend cans of food or water bottles.

Resistance Bands

PopFlex resistance bands

My PopFlex resistance bands came in a package of 3, light, medium and heavy. You’ll find a link for this brand as well as a less expensive option on Amazon that is highly rated.

Towel

No purchase necessary here. Grab a hand towel or bath towel from your home and you are good to go.

Chair

Everyone has access to a chair. Make sure it does not have arms and the back of the chair should be about hip height.
